Full Moon in Sagittarius Ritual

Full Moon in Sagittarius Ritual: Manifest with the Power of Oak

This month’s Full Moon arrives just a day after we enter the Celtic Tree Month of Oak — a time rich with strength, growth, and steadfast energy. It feels only natural to weave some oak magick into our Full Moon in Sagittarius manifesting ritual.

As I shared in my recent Full Moon newsletter (Moon Juice), this Sagittarius moon brings a powerful urge to close old doors and step boldly into new territory. It’s a time for expansion, for growth, and for harvesting the results of our intentions. To make the most of this potent lunar energy, prepare the following items for your ritual:

  • A yellow or orange candle

  • Black Pepper essential oil

  • A pencil or marker

  • An acorn from an oak tree

How to perform your ritual:

On the morning of the Full Moon — from 8:44 am BST on Wednesday the 11th (please check for your local time zone) — gather your items and cleanse them gently. You can use the smoke of mugwort, the sound of healing chimes, or singing forks to clear the energy.

Next, take your pencil or marker and draw a symbol onto your candle that represents your desire. This might be a heart, a monetary symbol, or something meaningful to you.

Then, carefully add a few drops of black pepper essential oil onto your acorn. (If you have sensitive skin, wear gloves or dilute the oil first with a carrier oil—about 10ml carrier to 3 drops essential oil.) Massage the oil into the acorn as if you’re feeding it the very essence of your intention.

Say these words aloud:

“From a tiny acorn, mighty oaks do grow,
With the power of intent, my magick flows.
Good intentions come to light,
By the power of the moon upon this night.”

Press your acorn beside or into the candle and light the flame. As the candle burns, gaze into the flickering light and visualise your manifestation growing strong and true, just like an oak tree from a humble acorn.

Allow the candle to burn down completely. Keep your charged acorn with you as a talisman of luck and growth.

Remember to wash your hands well after handling essential oils.

Did You Know?

The ancient Druids considered the oak tree sacred and believed it to be a powerful bridge between the earthly and spiritual realms. They held ceremonies beneath its mighty branches, viewing its acorns as magical seeds of transformation. The oak symbolises strength, wisdom, and endurance — reminding us that from small beginnings, great things can grow.

May this Full Moon bring you bold new beginnings, steady growth, and manifest your highest desires.

Blessed be,
Claire
